Minesing United Church

Celebrate God's presence in worship and praise!!

What to expect most Sundays...

We gather every Sunday morning at 10am to praise and worship God.   Feel free to come a few minutes early and enjoy some music before the service begins.  There is no dress code.  Some people choose to dress up, some people come in jeans.

Our regular Sunday services include uplifting music, enthusiastic singing, and quiet reflection to help us refocus our energy towards God - who made each one of us, and loves us beyond understanding.  Everyone participates in the first part of the service together and then there is a special Children's time.  Afterward, children and youth are invited to move beyond the sanctuary to participate in J.O.Y. - a hands on (and feet in!) approach to faith.

If you have never been to our church we will do our best to help you jump right in.  Our bulletin includes hints about how and why we do things, we try to explain everything we do.  No secrets!  If you are still unsure, then our ushers would be more than happy to help you out. (For example - the ushers know where to find the coffee and juice after the worship service!)

We can't wait to meet you!

What to expect on interACTIVE! Sundays...

Every few weeks we do something special.  On interACTIVE! Sundays the entire community stays together during the service.  Children and youth play an important part in these services and we participate together in activities to engage everyone in their faith journey - wherever they are in that journey.  We also dedicate our mission offerings at this time, especially the offering of the J.O.Y. program.

You can get a sense of experiential worship by checking out an example of one of our interACTIVE! services during which we experienced hope by raising money to rebuild a school in Sierra Leone that was destroyed by war.  The event was called, Float Your Boat, since we took our inspiration from the story of Noah and the Ark.  Pictures of the event are in our Photo Album.
