Summer Faith Connections
WE ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!
Shertine Construction is on the job and we are very excited to see what it looks like in real life when it is done. This is very exciting but we have had to make a few changes. Please see below for information on temporary locations of programs or services.
Minesing United Church (on the road)
Worship
- Sundays at 10 at Minesing Community Hall
- While we are "on the road", there will be kid's faith stories and connection crafts for children 3-12 during worship and our nursery caregiver will be on the job in our play corner for the very little ones. We strongly believe in supporting families as they grow in faith together.
Ground - Breaking Ceremony!
- Was Sunday May 9 11:30AM Church Parking Lot Check out pictures in our photo gallery. If you love the T-Shirts you see we can help you out. We are offering T-Shirts as part of our fundraising campaign. We have Black, White, and Blue shirts available in a variety of sizes for adults ($15) and children ($12.50).
Ongoing events
Our dedicated and talented choir is on vacation until the fall. Thank You to Heather Dickson our retiring choir director. We have been truly blessed by your many talents!
As noted above, our regular Sunday children's program will be "on the road" too. It is called JOY, because we have a lot of fun! We believe that children learn in many different ways. Play, storytelling, cooking, art, are all used to let the children explore Biblical stories and character lessons for life in a fun and age appropriate way. We will have a special table set up with an art activity each week and/or an outdoor games session. Painting, nature walks, and cookie decorating are just some of the fun things we have planned.
The prayer shawl ministry will not be meeting until the fall. Of course you are welcome to continue knitting at home. If you know of someone who needs a shawl please leave a message at the church, 737-5322.

Rev Kirsty is on vacation during July. Contact the church for information on emergency pastoral care.
